The Beast is awarded at the ‘Korea Contents Awards 2012′

The ‘Korea Contents Awards 2012,’ which is conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency, will be held on December 7 at the COEX in Seoul.

Among thirty-six awards, The Beast will receive the Minister Prize of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the comics category. The ‘Korea Contents Awards’ is considered the most prestigious recognition of contents awards in Korea. Comics, based on real idol group, will be awarded for the first time.

The Minister Prize of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is equivalent to second place following the President Prize. This proves that The Beast was a big issue in the publishing industry.

It is a hero action fantasy featuring Doo Jun, Hyun Seung, Jun Hyung, Yo Seop, Gi Kwang, and Dong Woon of the popular idol group B2ST. The Korea Manhwa Contents Agency already appointed it as the No. 1 K Comics.

The second book of The Beast will be published in January, 2013.
